Finger food is always a popular outdoor option and Pidy's ready to fill pastry cases offer a wide range of great ideas for open-air menus, including canapés and starters, main courses and sweets.
Available in a selection of shapes - which amongst others includes round, oval, heart, spoon, fish, crescent, lobster, boat, shell and tear - using them can be as simple as taking a case, adding a filling and handing it to the customer.
Suggestions include a summer starter which features Pidy's new Mini Cones with Apple & Roquefort, an appetizer that looks like an ice cream cone. Mix pieces of apple, celery, nuts and Roquefort cheese, add some French dressing, spoon the mixture into a Mini Cone and garnish with young salad leaves and red beet shoots.
All Pidy pastry cases have a long shelf life and come in resealable packs, the 3g Mini Cone - golden yellow in colour and with a crunchy structure - being available in packs of 112 or 288 pieces.
