N&W Global Vending's Starfood vendor from Necta has just won a food and drink vending category award from The Caterer magazine.

Available with eight or ten drum selection, the machine has a capacity of 192 and 240 items respectively, with the increased drum height of the eight drum model being specifically suited to the popular oversized triangular sandwich packs.

A special airflow system allows an even distribution of temperature, or it can be adjusted for each drum.

Other features are its capability of not vending if the temperature rises above a pre-programmed safe level; the machine monitoring any loss of power and disabling itself; and its being able to vend a range of products from pre-packed sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt and pastries through to plated meals up to 9in. diameter.
