Lochinvar shaping up well at Bannatyne's

Bannatyne's Health Club in Banbury has seen the installation of new water heating kit by Lochinvar.

The company supplied two Lochinvar Balanced Flued water heaters model 382LBFs, mainly to provide hot water for the club's shower facilities.

The LBF is a range of room sealed direct gas fired water heaters, which provide outputs from 80 to 1880ltrs of hot water per hour and is available with horizontal or balanced flue in lengths of up to seven metres.

Derby-based Abbey Contractors were responsible for the design and installation of the hot water system and the water heaters.

The contract is the latest of a number of refurbishment and new build projects for for which Lochinvar has heating and hot water products, these including hotels, sports and leisure centres, schools and universities.

Bannatyne is the largest independently owned health club operator in the UK, offering facilities at over 36 locations to approximately 100,000 members.

The Banbury club boasts a fully air conditioned gym with a comprehensive range of cardio vascular and resistance gym equipment. It runs various membership inclusive fitness classes and has a heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, steam room and spa area.
